Does the pool stay open in bad weather?

Do you ever limit hours of open swimming?
We use WeatherBug and other weather radar and lightning detectors to determine whether the pool will remain open or close. For safety, we must clear the pool if lightning is detected within 12-15 miles even if we can't hear it and/or if it's raining so hard we can't see the bottom of the pool. If the forecast makes pool use unappealing or unsafe for more than 2 hours, we will close for the duration of the day or until the weather improves.
We close general use during the 4 scheduled home swim meets: 4pm on 2 Wednesday meets and until 12 on the 2 Saturday morning meets. Check the calendar for the meet schedule. The baby pool is closed during this time too.
We have adult swim on days when more members are enjoying the pool. Adult swim occurs for 15 minutes on the hour. There's usually a lap lane in place every day unless we have a lot of members using the pool.
