Head Coach: Craig Young

The Gator's head coach is Craig Young. He is currently the Health and Physical Education teacher at Delaware Military Academy.  Craig was born and raised in Newark, DE and graduated from Glasgow High School in 2007.  While attending high school, Craig played lacrosse and swam, and was honored with 3 years of 1st Team All-State and 2 State Championships in the 100-yard backstroke. Upon graduating, Craig was offered a scholarship to swim at the University of Delaware under head coach John Hayman, and went on to earn 2 years of All-CAA honors.

Craig has been coaching swimming at DMA for the past 8 years - head coach for the past 5.  Craig has been a State and Conference coach of the year. He plans to bring his experiences and upbeat coaching style to Nottingham Green.  Craig and his wife Amanda (who grew up as a part of the Nottingham Swim Club), and their 1 year old daughter, Zoey recently moved into the Oaklands neighborhood and are very excited to become a part of the Nottingham Green Swim Club community!
